The Slarg

A common household pest, the slarg is generally found in the bathroom and is born in shower drains where too much hair has been left gathering. The best way to keep Slargs out of your house is to frequently clear the drains of any debri, hair or otherwise. 
If you have the misfortune of finding a slarg in your house catch it quickly in a tightly sealed jar as it will otherwise escape, leaving wide and unpleasant trails across your house before setting up a nest. Slargs can be destroyed with a mixture of salt, hot water and some shampoo. (Add these ingredients into the jar, tightly close the lid and shake well, then dispose of the jar as soon as possible to avoid bad smells.) 
Slargs are not fast moving creatures and will not hurt you unless you pick them up with your bare hand in which case they will latch on tightly and will not let go for any reason bar the above remedy. This can leave scars so be very careful to avoid this kind of contact with the Slarg.
